| Insurance companies are here to make moeny, if not, their owners would have put a different bussiness. Period. whos not?? And believe me, they abuse us every single day. As I said, law just started to put a stop on the abuse, but there is still a long way to go. like what? I'm paying 600 a year for great coverage (100/300/100 250/500 otc/coll), because I drive well... Insurance commissioners are elected officials, so whatever has happened, happened in a democratic process. And, yes, you can have insurance for all those things you said, but have you checked their prices? Yup, I have. I've seen many instances where a collector/stated value car gets changed close to nothing provided the driver has a good record. They realize its a special car, and you will do your best to take care of it, and your record will prove that. If you have a bad record, thats not thier fault. it does lead back to money.... but we do live in a capitalist, representative republic society... i would not have it any other way. :) btw, I've been P&C licensed for years now
